Verified Agency Dossier

A security agency’s record, computed from the shifts themselves.

An agency dossier is a public page that shows how reliably a security agency covers its shifts, computed every night by ShiftsGo from clock-ins, patrols and logs captured at the post. The agency can share it; it cannot edit it.

What a dossier is, and who it is for

For buyers

Check a security agency before you sign

Property managers and procurement teams see shift fulfillment, replacement times and coverage history computed from the agency’s own operating records, not a sales deck.

For agencies

Show your record, not just your promises

Agencies that run their shifts on ShiftsGo can publish a dossier and share one link in proposals, bids and renewals. The agency decides whether it is published and whether it is discoverable.

The tier ladder

Tiers follow a published rule: monthly operations credits and shift fulfillment, both at or above the thresholds, in each of the required consecutive months.

Tier thresholds, lowest first
TierCredits per monthFulfillmentConsecutive months
Emerging2,000+75%+1
Verified5,000+90%+3
Veteran10,000+97.5%+3
Elite25,000+99.0%+3
Vanguard50,000+99.5%+3
  • Both thresholds must be met in each of the required months, and the months must be consecutive. Above Emerging, a lapsed month breaks the run; an Emerging agency keeps the tier through a single missed month, provided the month before it met Emerging, and loses it on a second consecutive miss.
  • Only completed billing months count; the month in progress never does. No tier above Emerging is awarded before three full months.
  • The tier is the highest rung currently held and is reviewed at the end of every month, so it can go down as well as up.

How every figure is computed

Fulfillment rate
Fulfilled shifts divided by required shifts over the reporting period, rounded down, never up: an agency that left a shift unfilled never shows 100%.
Required shift
A shift on the agency’s published schedule for a client site. Shifts the client cancelled are excluded.
Fulfilled
A guard, scheduled or replacement, clocked in for the shift in ShiftsGo. A shift with no clock-in counts as unfilled.
Replacement time
From the scheduled start, or from the call-out if the guard left mid-shift, to the replacement’s clock-in at the post.
Operations credits
One credit per committed static guard-hour and one per completed patrol visit, exactly as metered for billing.
Fleet hours
Clocked hours on fulfilled shifts across all of the agency’s sites in the reporting period, split into static and patrol hours.
Verified logs
Checkpoint completions, standalone log entries and incident reports marked ready, as recorded in ShiftsGo during the period, counted for the latest month and for the last 12 months. The location of a standalone log entry is not verified.
Winter readiness
Shifts fulfilled while recorded weather at the site was sub-zero, snowy or freezing rain. Shown only where weather data exists for the agency’s sites.
Reporting period
The 365 days ending the previous day. Recalculated nightly from ShiftsGo operational records.
Agency tier
Credits per billing month and shift fulfillment per calendar month, both at or above the tier’s thresholds, for the required number of consecutive completed months.

Corrections and limitations

Supervisor corrections
Supervisors can correct attendance records. Every correction is audited, and the original device timestamps are kept.
Location enforcement
Clock-ins outside a site’s geofence are rejected only where the site enforces its geofence. Each dossier states which enforcement applies.
Nightly recomputation
Figures are recomputed every night. A printed or emailed copy reflects the snapshot it was taken from, not later nights.
Weather availability
Winter readiness depends on historical weather records for each site. Where those are unavailable the dossier says so instead of showing a figure.

How a dossier is verified

Every dossier carries these four statements.

Captured at the post.
Clock-ins, GPS traces and checkpoint scans are captured by the guard’s phone on site at the time they happen. Where a site enforces its geofence, clock-ins outside it are rejected. Supervisor corrections are audited and the original device timestamps are kept.
Held by ShiftsGo, not the agency.
The figures are computed from operational records that ShiftsGo stores. The agency can publish or unpublish this page; it cannot edit a figure.
Recomputed every night and sealed.
The ledger hash is ShiftsGo’s signature over every figure in this published snapshot. It identifies the snapshot; it cannot be checked offline.
Checkable by anyone.
Enter the Agency ID at shiftsgo.com/verify. The page shows the live hash and the headline figures it stands for — compare them with this document. A copy whose figures differ is not this snapshot, whatever hash it prints.

Who can find it

Unlisted is not confidential: anyone with the link can open it.

By default a dossier is unlisted. It is shared by link; search engines and AI assistants are asked not to index it, and known crawlers are refused.

The agency can choose to make its dossier discoverable. Search engines and AI search tools may then index it, so buyers searching for the agency by name can find it. The agency can switch this back off at any time; removal from search results can take days or weeks.

Known model-training crawlers are refused or opted out on every dossier, discoverable or not.

Questions

Who can see an agency dossier?

Anyone the agency shares the link with. Unlisted is not confidential: anyone with the link can open it. Search engines and AI search tools only index a dossier the agency has made discoverable.

Can the agency edit its figures?

No. The agency can publish or unpublish its dossier and choose whether it is discoverable; it cannot edit a figure. The figures are computed by ShiftsGo from the operational records it stores.

How often are the figures updated?

Every night. Each dossier shows when its figures were last computed.

How do I check a printed or emailed copy?

Enter the Agency ID printed on the dossier on the verify page. It shows whether the dossier is published, the live ledger hash and the headline figures it stands for. A copy whose figures differ is not the live snapshot.

Is a tier a rating or an endorsement?

No. A tier states that the agency met published thresholds for monthly operations credits and shift fulfillment in its ShiftsGo records for the required consecutive months. It is not a review, a rating or an endorsement by ShiftsGo.

Will a dossier appear in Google or AI search?

Only if the agency turns on discoverability. If it later turns it off, search engines are asked to drop the page, which can take days or weeks. Known model-training crawlers are refused or opted out either way.

Can a discoverable dossier be used to train AI models?

Not with ShiftsGo’s consent, and the major providers are asked not to. ShiftsGo refuses known training crawlers on every dossier, and asks Google and Apple not to use dossier pages for training through the control each publishes (Google-Extended and Applebot-Extended), and asks Microsoft through Bing’s nocache to limit any training use to the page’s address, title and snippet. These are requests the companies say they honour, not something ShiftsGo enforces, and an unknown crawler that ignores robots rules is not stopped by them. Google states that its control does not affect inclusion in Google Search and also governs grounding in its Gemini apps, so a discoverable dossier can appear in Google Search while Google says it will not use it for grounding in Gemini apps. Apple states that Applebot-Extended controls training use only, so Siri and Spotlight search are unaffected.

What is the demo dossier?

A fictional example agency with illustrative figures generated by ShiftsGo, so you can see every section of a dossier at each tier. It is clearly labelled as an example.
